BANDUNG, (PRLM).- Kabupaten Bandung akhirnya memastikan diri menjadi
juara umum Kejuaraan Daerah (Kejurda) Renang Jawa Barat 2011 ?BJB Cup
I?, yang diadakan di Lintasan Renang UPI Bandung, Minggu (27/3). Total
medali yang diraih Kabupaten Bandung hingga hari terakhir pelaksanaan
Kejurda adalah 33 medali emas, 27 medali perak, dan 11 perunggu.
Sedangkan tuan rumah Kota Bandung, harus puas berada di peringkat
kedua dengan 17 emas, 16 perak, dan 21 perunggu. Disusul oleh
Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, yang menduduki peringkat ketiga dengan 7 emas,
3 perak, dan 3 perunggu.
Untuk kategori klub, Elvira Swimma Gemilang (ESG) Jabar, berhasil
menjadi juara umum dengan total medali 10 emas, 23 perak, dan 26
perunggu. Di peringkat kedua, diraih Sukapura SC Tasikmalaya dengan 10
medali emas, disusul Pari Sakti dengan raihan 8 emas dan 2 perak.
Sementara itu perenang asal Kabupaten Bandung mendominasi daftar
perenang terbaik Kejurda Renang ?BJB Cup 2011?. Di kategori putra
senior, Fajar Hafian dani menjadi yang terbaik dengan raihan medali 6
emas dan 5 perak. Pada kategori putra KU-14, Kenny Lisanputra tampil
sebagai yang terbaik dengan 6 medali emas dan 2 perak.
Kota Bandung diwakili oleh perenang andalannya, Ressa Kania Dewi yang
memperoleh predikat perenang putri terbaik kategori putri senior. Pada
Kejurda kali ini, Ressa meraih 7 emas. Sedangkan pada kategori daftar
perenang terbaik putri KU-14, diraih perenang asal Kabupaten
Tasikmalaya, Nadia Pangestika dengan 6 emas, 3 perak, dan 1 perunggu.
Pelatih Kabupaten Bandung, Nizarudin mengaku puas dengan hasil yang
diraih oleh para perenangnya. Dia menambahkan dengan tampilnya
Kabupaten Bandung sebagai juara umum, mudah-mudahan KONI Kabupaten
Bandung bisa mendukung terhadap perkembangan olah raga renang di
kabupaten. ?Saat ini kami masih mengandalkan bantuan dari para orang
tua atlet,? katanya.
Nizarudin menambahkan pada Porda Jabar XI, banyak atlet asal Kabupaten
Bandung yang memperkuat daerah lain seperti Kabupaten Bekasi dan
Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. ?Di Porda Jabar lalu banyak atlet yang membela
Bekasi dan Tasik, tapi sekarang kami bisa menunjukan bahwa banyak
atlet Kabupaten Bandung yang bisa berprestasi,? katanya.
