Apple iPhone 4 vs BlackBerry(R) Torch™ 9800

Well, im gonna tell u since I started using the Blackberry Torch, people around keep asking which one should I choose in between iPhone4 and Blackberry Torch. anyhow,I could not give an answer to anything previously but now in this Apple iPhone 4 vs BlackBerry® Torch™ 9800 entry I'm gonna give the comparison between Blackberry Torch and Apple iPhone 4 for a better information specially for you guys.

The Dimension;

Blackberry Torch : 111mm X 62mm X 14.6mm
iPhone 4 : 115.2mm X 58.8mm X 9.3mm

from the data above, we could see that the height of Torch (slide-in) is shorter than iPhone 4. and the width of Torch makes a huge difference 5.3mm as compared to iPhone, this is easy to understand since Torch has a slide out keyboard increasing the width of the phone itself.

by refer to the shape of 2 phones, I more prefer Torch as it looks more aerodynamic to me which is compared to Storm. Till now I'm still not used to the rectangular-ish iPhone 4. I felt more comfortable to grab Torch in hand rather than iPhone 4.

according to softlogger.com, Torch came with best in class thinnest physical keyboard giving the device a slide-out full Qwerty keyboard. However the keyboard seems to be a bit cramped and getting it open with your thumb could be a bit difficult because there isn't a good "ledge" for your thumb to grab hold of to help provide leverage.

Although the iPhone 4 lacks a physical keyboard, its virtual keyboard is nothing less than remarkable. It gives the feeling of having artificial intelligence as the keyboard promises to match your typing speed. The virtual keyboard has another advantage -which with the iPhone 4 does not have the complicated keystrokes to add special characters. That really help a lot in typing faster and typing during driving :)
